The next CAN Community Lunch will take place on 21st October 2009 at Ollerton Town Hall. Paul Peacock of Notts County Council will speak about 'Responsibilities of Charity Trustees'. Jackie Insley of Ollerton CAB will give the members presentation.

 

11.45am - 4.15pm

 

Everyone is welcome to attend. You are requested to arrive on time for a prompt 12 noon start. You are also requested to let us know if you plan to attend so that we are not embarrassed by a shortage of lunch provisions for the numbers present.

 

Ged Greaves of Newark & Sherwood District Council continues to keep us updates at meetings about the recent government led surveys of the community and voluntary sector. The following link takes you to a webpage describing the aims of the National Third Sector Survey and includes a link to a separate site that contains all of the survey reports and a comparison tool. Unfortunately the data is only at county level.
